Artificial Chaos, 2025

Installation, Resin

60 × 30 x 80 cm

Artificial Chaos is divided into two subjects, one rising and the other falling. Taoism says:“ All things in the world are born from existence, and existence is born from non-existence.” The virtual and the real, the non-existence, are mutually generated and growing, and they are self-sustaining as a metaphor for the (spiral) evolution of all things in the universe.

During the creation of “Artificial Chaos”, I continued to use the previous database. But on this basis, I continued to build new scenes. Artificial Chaos is the first series I created after returning to my hometown.

When an individual is in a state of disorder, consciousness will try to find a new balance in the face of the uncertainty of the outside world. This is why this series has two subjects, “yin” and “yang”.

When the two subjects are exhibited separately, they will exist alone as individuals. Only when they are combined into one can the unsolvable chaos be eliminated.
